Cape Fear occurs as 1991 film, directed by Martin Scorsese. These are the remaking of the 1962 film of the same name and tells the story of the personal human, the previous public defender, whose family is threatened by the homicidal outlaw world health organization wants retribution for getting been put around prison many years prior to because of the attorney's faulty defense tactics. It stars Robert De Niro, Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange, Juliette Lewis, Joe Don Baker, Robert Mitchum (one of the stars of the original film), Gregory Peck (another star of the sooner film), Martin Balsam (also from either a foremost film), Illeana Douglas and Fred Dalton Thompson. It was as well Peck's final theatrical film. It was adapted by Wesley Strick from the original screenplay by James R. Webb, which was an adaptation from the novel The Executioners by John D. MacDonald. It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Robert De Niro) and Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Juliette Lewis). A film was parodied on The Simpsons episode Cape Feare.
